1.75 mm rPETG filament

KiwiFil rPETG filament is made from 100 % recycled plastic. The material is a mix of local New Zealand scrap from the fabrication of restaurant menu holders, store display cases, and pharmaceutical containers, and post-industrial scrap from the manufacturing of PETG sheets in Australia.

The waste is in the form of sheet cut-offs that are too small to use for anything else, and trimmings and rejects from the manufacturing of sheets and pharmaceutical bottles. We shred the material, dry it, and then extrude it into filament for you to enjoy. We think it is absolutely fabulous that we can give new life to waste that otherwise would have ended up on the landfill. The filament may also contain recycled 3D prints.
