Glow-in-dark rPETG 3D printing filament, 250 g, 1.75 mm (±0.05 mm tolerance), made from 90% recycled plastic and 10% magic. The raw material is mainly post-industrial waste from the manufacturing of plastic plates.
This gorgeous glow-in-dark rPETG prints with a smooth finish, and is indistinguishable from virgin (new) material.
Made in New Zealand, including the all-cardboard spool, the bag, the label, and the instruction card. The spool is shipped in a thick re-usable plastic pouch with zip closure.
Recommended settings: Nozzle: 240-250°C. Bed: 70-85°C.

Note: A hardened steel nozzle is recommended if you print large quantities of glow-in-dark filament. The magic dust that glows in the dark is rather abrasive.

Because this filament is made from 100 % recycled plastics, the colour and properties can vary slightly from batch to batch. We have a very meticulous quality control process, and the filament diameter is controlled twice - both in the extruding process and in the re-spooling process. We are also doing extensive test printing and mechanical testing to ensure this recycled plastic filament is as good as the virgin material.
However, if this filament doesn't work well in your printer, let us know and we will refund you, no matter how little is left on your spool.

- PETG is almost as easy to print as PLA. It has low odour and doesn’t warp.
- PETG is much more sensitive to humidity than PLA. Store the spool in the plastic bag when you don’t use it, and keep the relative humidity in your printer room or printer enclosure below 45%. If the spool has been exposed to humidity, you need to dry it before you use it. Search online for DIY drying solutions and dedicated filament dryers. Even a freshly opened spool may have absorbed moisture during transport and storage and may need to be dried.
- PETG parts can handle higher temperature than PLA parts. PLA softens at around 60°C, while PETG can handle almost boiling water temperature without deforming.
