Black rPCTG-rPETG high temperature 3D printing filament, 250 g, 1.75 mm (±0.05 mm tolerance), made from 100% recycled plastic. This filament is dishwasher safe and can withstand higher temperature than regular rPETG.
This high temperature filament is a blend of recycled PCTG and recycled PETG. It contains 75% rPCTG scrap from a very famous New Zealand lunch box manufacturer, and 25% of rPETG from the manufacturing for menu holders and other sheet products.
PCTG is sometimes called “PETG on steroids”, and is a high-temperature co-polyester (it is not polycarbonate, despite the “PC” in the name). PCTG is sometimes also known by the trade name Tritan™. It has a softening temperature that is higher than PETG and is dishwasher safe. However, 100% PCTG can be a bit tricky to print. We have added 25% or rPETG to make it warp less and print better, and it is still dishwasher safe.
Just like regular (r)PETG, the rPCTG-rPETG blend is hygroscopic. Even a freshly opened spool may have absorbed moisture through the bag during transport and storage and may need drying.
